Back in the work force.

I’ve spent the last 17 years at home raising my children. I have a university degree but not a lot of actual work experience. I really need to get back to work but where do I start?

Not sure what I could even add to a resume when my experience is from a lifetime ago.

ANOTHER GREAT POST:  Child support

Anyone have experience getting back to work after such a long break?

If you haven’t worked or studied recently, you’ll have to start low again. See your connections first; they’ll be more accommodating towards your situations due to your relationships with them.

Time and technology moves on; your university degree with the lack of work easily puts you at a disadvantage due to the struggle to understand how new policies and stuff operates now.
