  1. I feel this information would be more useful to the proper authorities rather than on an anonymous post.

Instead of trying to hurt their business….why not report them and shut them down??? Unless this is a bunch of horseshit out of the mouth of a bitter customer/former employee?

#1 How do you know she hasn’t reported them
#2 if they want to commit liable they are free to do so.

    • Jason Ellard,
#1 I know as much as you do about the post.
      #2 you bet they can
#3 I am allowed to question the of validity of this post. I’m also allowed to point out the redundancy of trying to harm business when you can effectively shut it down.

Any more points you need clarified? Lol

They weren’t points, the first was a question, the second was a fact. And I believe the essence of my comment alluded to your being allowed to, but thanks for the redundancy. Clarification was never requested nor required leaving your whole comment nothing but you trying to save face. Thanks for coming out.

    • Jason Ellard The post is anonymous, so who would the company sue? Since posts are approved, you’re effectively stating that Shoutout Edmonton would be liable.

Ummm you see if they wanted to sue they would ask the admin who made the comment. In these cases the request can be made officially. Any other questions?

    • Jason Ellard Posts are submitted anonymously. The best you could hope for would be an IP address. 6 users have access to one of my IP addresses. Good luck proving who wrote it.

LOL wow. They come from someone’s Facebook account. Then they are posted anonymously. Is this that difficult?

No they don’t. You have to go to the website where it’s filled out anonymously

And yet Google didn’t find any news reports about it. Business shaming without back up should not be supported by this site.

Hello, I am Julie from Julie’s Day Spa. I feel compelled to respond as this post came to my attention. Firstly, I would like to thank those of you out there who condemned the post and/or supported me throughout this slanderous misguided post. Seven months ago, I had an employee who made false receipts for massage therapy and her husband submitted them for insurance reimbursement (fraud). Once it was brought to my attention (audit), I immediately reported false receipts to the insurance company, filed a police complaint and fired my employee. Steps were taken so this could not occur in the future. I was a victim too. I lost an excellent massage therapist and a friend who moved on to work elsewhere. The employee who took advantage of her privileges, I had considered her part of my family. My employee said that she did it to pay for her rent and to put food on her table as her husband lost his job and she was just about to lose her home and give birth to her second child. As a human being, I felt sorrowful that a good person would resort to such wrongdoing for money. Nevertheless, I had to protect my business, my staff and my clients. In the end I lost two friends and employee/coworkers. I and Julie’s Day Spa will persevere and continue to deliver the best services available to fine Edmontonians every day. Thanks for hearing me.
