Milestone birthday ideas

Hi there fine folks of Edmonton,

My wife is having a milestone age… 30!!!!! She turns this egregious age in February and I am looking for ideas on how to celebrate.

We have a 2 year old and a 2 month old right now so I’m a little reluctant on hosting any large parties however any and all suggestions are hugely appreciated.

ANOTHER GREAT POST:  Help! I need Info for a Resume

TIA.

  1. I went to Pampa for my 30th. Food was awesome, and it was fun to do an “experience” rather than just regular dinner.

Clean the house, toilets and laundry too! Take care of a nice dinner and gift her something she has been wanting, but refuses to buy for herself.

  3. You know her best… what would she like? An escape with the child.. or without? How about an escape from the city to a nice (but close) small tourist destination? Only 1 hour SW.. The Village at Pigeon lake..stay at the Village Creek Country Inn Inn or one of the B & B’s.. come early enough (or stay longer the next day) to have a spa appointment for her.. and to go shopping (3 stores she will love most are Fenced Fashions, The Clothing Store, and The Village Emporium.. as well as nearby Backstreet Antiques). Or.. a trip to Jasper (more $ and farther away which is why I suggest The Village)..

How about planning a special dinner at home for 2 after the kids are in bed?

Should give her a night free from you and the kids to have a good cry.

Take her for a couples night out to the Union Bank Inn. The restaurant is fantastic. Call them and let them know what you’re up to. They’ll help you out.

  11. Personally I don’t think 30 is all that big of a deal, but something like a spa day with a friend/mom/sister could be nice if she’s into that kind of thing.

  12. Buy her a cane and go for a walk in a retirement home. Unforgettable!!!!

  13. She wants naps. A clean house. A long bath and a shit with no one disturbing either. A meal thats not cold af. Oh and she wants to catch up on some of her favorite crappy tv shows. Send her to a hotel for the night. Alone.
