To the crowd of people who stopped their cars and ran to literally pick my son and his mobility scooter up from off the concrete, I thank you. Thank you for being a decent and compassionate human being.
Thank you for giving him Kleenex and wet ones to clean the blood from his poor face. Thank you for letting him spit out his broken tooth and feel the frustration without judgement. Thank you for being the reactionary and calming force he needed until we arrived. I didn’t get anyone of your names but your kind faces are forever in my memory.
